Autotransact Reserve Online Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) describe the rights and responsibilities of you and us in relation to your reservation of a vehicle through this website.
Reserving your car online
On our website there is an option to pay £99 to reserve a car for 7 days by paying a fully refundable reservation fee on it.
The prices displayed on our site are inclusive of VAT.
If you decide to reserve a vehicle by paying a reservation fee, you will be asked to enter your personal and card details via PayPal (see the ‘Paying a Reservation Fee’ section below). Please note that payment of this reservation fee means no obligation to buy. This fee is merely to cover the cost of us removing this vehicle from sale for you to attend our Dealership to view it.
Paying a Reservation Fee
If you choose to reserve a car by paying a reservation fee, you will be asked to enter your personal details, address, and payment card information. When you click on “submit payment”, the amount of the reservation fee will be debited from your payment card immediately.
After paying a reservation fee, you will receive an email from us that acknowledges receipt. Please note that this does not mean that your reservation has been accepted. Please note that under no circumstances does payment of this reservation fee create a legally binding contractual arrangement for the sale of the vehicle to you. All reservations are subject to acceptance by us, as we need to check that the car has not already been sold or reserved earlier by someone else. We will confirm our acceptance of your reservation by sending you a confirmation email (the "Reservation Confirmation").
Your vehicle will be reserved for 7 days from the day the deposit has been made. Please note that should you fail to attend within this timescale and/or complete the purchase within this timescale, the reservation fee will be immediately refunded to you, unless we have expressly agreed with you to withhold the vehicle for longer.
We will be in contact with you within 24 hours to discuss the next steps required to complete your purchase.
Please note that if you wish to test drive the vehicle please remember to bring your Driving Licence with you.
Cancelling Your Reservation
If you decide not to purchase the vehicle, you can request a refund of the reservation fee at any time, prior to signing a vehicle order form agreeing to purchase the vehicle. Your reservation payment will be refunded in full, usually within 5-10 days.
Cancellations of a reservation should be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Payments are processed securely by our payment processor partner, PayPal. When you are paying a reservation fee, you will need to enter your debit or credit card information. You warrant that you have appropriate authority to use the payment card details which you enter. By entering your debit or credit card information, you agree to the use of that information by PayPal for the purpose of paying the amount due and processing your payment.
Used vehicles are supplied from several different sources, including part-exchange, ex-demonstration vehicles, courtesy vehicles, manufacturer, and business user vehicles and as such may have had multiple users. Please be advised this does not affect your statutory rights.
